Jalapeño Popper Sliders
Dec 7, 2023By Molly AllenWhen it comes to cooking at home, there’s a time and a place for elaborate recipes. But sometimes you just want something quick and easy to make, using just a few ingredients. But that certainly doesn’t mean it has to be boring.
Drawing inspiration from a classic restaurant appetizer, these Jalapeño Popper Sliders are made with just six ingredients. Minimal effort meets maximum flavor thanks to the combination of juicy burgers, bacon, plenty of cheese, and a touch of spice. Use them as the ultimate tailgate inspiration for game day or simply prep a batch to enjoy around the fire with friends and family.
This recipe makes six sliders but can easily be doubled to feed a bigger crowd.
Equipment
Bonfire 2.0, Cast Iron Griddle Top + Hub
Ingredients
¾ pound ground beef
5 pieces bacon
1 (7-ounce) container cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 large jalapeños, seeded and minced (or more to taste)
6 slider buns

Step 1: Build a Fire
Build a fire in your Solo Stove fire pit. Start by burning 4 medium logs, allowing them to reduce down just about to a low flame with hot coals. Set up the cooking hub with the griddle on top.
Step 2: Prep the cream cheese mixture
In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and minced jalapeños. Use a spatula to mix until well combined.

Step 3: Cook the meat
Form the ground beef into six even slider patties. Season the top with salt and pepper. Cook the slider patties and bacon on the cast iron griddle to desired doneness.

Step 4: Assemble the sliders
While the meat is cooking, spread the cream cheese mixture on the top and bottom of each slider bun. Once the slider patties have cooked, place one on each slider bun. Break the cooked bacon up into smaller pieces. Top each slider with two small slices of bacon. Serve immediately and dig in!
