Help Solo Stove Roast a World Record

Everyone loves s’mores, and what’s better than one s’more? Hundreds of s’mores!

To celebrate National S’mores Day, we are gearing up to roast a long-held record in the world of tasty treats toasted to perfection over an open flame. It's time for our loyal Solo Stove community to ignite and gather 'round to help us make history as we set our sights on breaking the Guinness World Record for the most s'mores made simultaneously, a title currently held by the Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee/Williamson County.

The Current Record

In August 2018, The Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee/Williamson County set the bar high with a delicious record of 801! It was an interactive way for the scouts to learn about fire safety and, just like us, to recognize National S’mores Day, which is on August 10.

Help Us Roast This Record

Partnering with Kraft, Honey Maid, Topo Chico, Scheels, and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation, we’re excited to invite you, your friends, and your families to join us on July 22 as we whip up this classic campfire treat and create a fun and memorable experience for all. Of course, we aim to earn our place in the record books too!

Our world record attempt will occur at Chicken ‘N Pickle in Grapevine, Texas. In addition to gathering more than a thousand (hopefully) of our closest friends to make s’mores, we’ll also play some yard games and enjoy one another’s company around hundreds of our smokeless Mesa fire pits, which will be specially etched to commemorate the event then given out to 500 lucky participants. NBA Forward Maxi Kleber of the Dallas Mavericks will even be there to sign autographs, take pictures, and play a little pickleball.

The Details

We have 1,500 tickets available for the event, with 100 of those reserved for general admission, ages 12 and up. For a chance to claim a general admission ticket, register here. Smoresapalooza is a free event, but remember that if you sign up, you must participate in the attempt.

Volunteers will judge our record from Stewards of the Wild, a Texas Parks & Wildlife conservation leadership program. The volunteers will be overseen by a Guinness World Record adjudicator, joining us from New York City to make it all official.
