Celebrating Patio Day with Solo Stove

It’s National Patio Day! Today, we cherish the magic of outdoor gatherings and the warmth of shared moments around the fire. On June 3rd, we're celebrating the beauty of the outdoors, chilling and grilling on our patios, and the incredible memories our Solo Stove community has made. We reached out to some of our amazing customers to hear their favorite patio moments, and their stories truly highlight why "Solo Time is Special Time."

Rob Spitler and Macy's Solo Stove Adventures

Rob Spitler shared a heartwarming tale about his Rottweiler, Macy, who has become an avid Solo Stove fan.

"Macy knows if one of us picks up a lighter and heads for the door, she’s going to get to chase a ball. It may be only for 30 minutes or it may be for hours. She doesn’t care. She just knows that fire means fun."

Whether it’s the Cinder, Wave Bowl, Mesa XL, Ranger, or Bonfire, the fires provide quality time together and keep Macy active. When playtime is over, Macy is content to lay by the fire, enjoying the warmth and company. It's clear that Solo Stove time is special not just for people but also for their pets.

Jeff Kastin's Eclipse Memory

For Jeff Kastin, his patio has been a backdrop to countless cherished moments.

"Wow! So many memories have been made on my patio…whether it’s cooking on the bonfire, lighting a small fire during the day with the Mesa XL, or listening to tunes in the evening with some neighbors."

One standout memory for Jeff is experiencing a Total Solar Eclipse with his two children. Despite the cloudy skies, they laughed, talked about life, and enjoyed each other’s company around the Mesa XL. Jeff treasures this memory and looks forward to creating more with his family in the years to come.

Sandra Sousa's Healing Journey

Sandra Sousa's Solo Stove journey began in 2020 when her daughters gifted her a Bonfire for Mother's Day. Amidst the pandemic, this fire pit became a lifeline, allowing her to safely connect with family and friends. Over the years, Sandra has added more Solo Stove products to her collection, each becoming a source of comfort and joy.

"In the fall of 2022, I had a bad fall and couldn’t drive for three months. The original Mesa launched at this time and really saved my sanity."

Whether enjoying a quiet morning coffee or reminiscing about her late dog, Sandra's Solo Stove has been a constant companion through joyful and challenging times.

Alice Schipper's Intergenerational Conversations

For Alice Schipper, the Solo Stove at her cabin has been a cornerstone of family gatherings.

"Life is busy. The Solo Stove that sits outside the cabin has been the center of my conversations with my adult children and grandchildren that I hope they remember fondly."

One memorable evening, Alice and her teenage granddaughters shared stories, laughed about their day, and marveled at the night sky. The fire pit sparked warmth and deep, meaningful conversations that spanned generations. Alice hopes these moments will be cherished and passed down, perhaps even with the same Solo Stove.

Paul Edgar's Garden Transformation

Paul Edgar's Solo Stove experience began with a Campfire model and quickly became a ritual.

"I bought the mighty Campfire about two years ago, not knowing the new addiction I had started."

This led to a collection of Solo Stoves and a complete garden revamp. Paul has spent countless hours enjoying his various Solo Stoves, creating memories that are too numerous to count. Paul’s garden has become a personal paradise, thanks to his trusty Solo Stoves, whether alone or with company.

Jody Taylor's Family Bonding

For Jody Taylor, the Yukon has brought his family closer together.

"Family means a lot to me and my wife, and once we got our Yukon, we found it brought the children out of their bedrooms away from the electronics!"

One unforgettable night, Jody's son, who rarely steps away from his Xbox, grabbed his guitar and played around the fire for an hour. This spontaneous moment of connection and music around the Yukon is a treasured memory for Jody and his family.
