It's effortlessly prepared over the dancing flames of a Solo Stove Mesa or Mesa XL. This recipe makes two cocktails.
Equipment
Mesa XL, Cooking Ring, Cooking Pot
Note: Cooking rings are sold separately. When selecting the correct cooking ring size, select "Titan" for Mesa and "Campfire" for Mesa XL.
Ingredients
12 ounces water
2 tablespoons honey
Juice of half of a lemon
4 whole cinnamon sticks
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Your favorite whiskey
Step 1: Heat Up Your Mesa
Start a fire in your Mesa tabletop firepit. Cook down small pieces of wood to create a base of hot coals.
Step 2: Prep the Cocktail Mixture
Add the water, honey, lemon juice, cinnamon sticks, and vanilla extract in a campfire cooking pot. Stir to combine.
Step 3: Warm the Cocktail
With a low flame in Mesa, heat up the cocktail, stirring occasionally, for five minutes.
Step 4: Strain Into a Mug
Using a small strainer, strain and divide the mixture into two mugs.
Step 5: Add a Shot and Serve
Add 1 1/2 ounces of your favorite whiskey to each mug. Garnish with a lemon slice and cinnamon stick and serve warm.
