Enter this quintessential whiskey cocktail, a deliciously boozy elixir that promises to be the perfect companion during these chilly months. But what makes this libation truly special is its simplicity - crafted from ingredients already available in your kitchen pantry, it's a testament to the beauty of minimalism. And the best part? It's effortlessly prepared over the dancing flames of a Solo Stove Mesa or Mesa XL. So, grab your favorite bottle of whiskey, dust off your mixing glasses, and let's concoct the ultimate winter warmer.

This recipe makes two cocktails.

Equipment

Mesa XL, Cooking Ring, Cooking Pot

Note: Cooking rings are sold separately. When selecting the correct cooking ring size, select "Titan" for Mesa and "Campfire" for Mesa XL.

Ingredients

12 ounces water

2 tablespoons honey

Juice of half of a lemon

4 whole cinnamon sticks

1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Your favorite whiskey

Step 1: Heat Up Your Mesa

Start a fire in your Mesa tabletop firepit. Cook down small pieces of wood to create a base of hot coals.

Step 2: Prep the Cocktail Mixture

Add the water, honey, lemon juice, cinnamon sticks, and vanilla extract in a campfire cooking pot. Stir to combine.

Step 3: Warm the Cocktail

With a low flame in Mesa, heat up the cocktail, stirring occasionally, for five minutes.

Step 4: Strain Into a Mug

Using a small strainer, strain and divide the mixture into two mugs.

Step 5: Add a Shot and Serve

Add 1 1/2 ounces of your favorite whiskey to each mug. Garnish with a lemon slice and cinnamon stick and serve warm.
